Relations with Russians in the Baltic states are indeed complex and multifaceted, but this does not give grounds to generalize. There are radical citizens in every country. But resentment has a place to be and there is a reason.
To begin with, we should look into the historical context, when the USSR made an offer to the Balts that could not be refused - to voluntarily allow Soviet troops to enter its territory. After that, their power and political system quickly changed, and there was an irresistible desire to join the USSR. And there are mass deportations, also voluntary, probably.
Of course, you can blame them and say that we built everything for them there, they became people thanks to us. A controversial issue. They didn't even sit with their hands folded while we were building something for them. And looking at the Scandinavian countries, which rose from about the same level to a high standard of living completely without the help of the USSR, the Balts have a well-founded resentment for the lost years.
Plus, there is the language issue, Russians are perceived as unwilling to integrate into the community and learn the official language. Well, it's kind of logical, it's a different country and different laws. For example, there are a lot of Russians in Germany, but for some reason it doesn't occur to them to demand any special treatment. Similarly, in the former CIS countries, no one owes anything to anyone.
In general, there are a lot of people in the Baltic states who have a positive attitude towards Russians, especially if they show respect for the culture, language and history of these countries.
I have never felt any special attitude towards myself by nationality or citizenship anywhere. You're in a foreign country and you respect its laws, you're not trying to humiliate them (oh, look how fat, scary, unpainted they are, poor, on the contrary, rich, and so on). You're just admiring the sights, learning something new for yourself... You're finally smiling... And believe me, you'll get the same thing in return.

When you dig into the historical roots, bonds and traditions of your ancestors, the main thing is not to dig too deep.
And when you try to understand the reasons for what is happening to the brains of the population, then too... I've already reached the Denisov man. https://t.me/shipshard/3064
They just don't want people to get their pensions. A man is dying and they will take his loot for yachts, mansions, prostitutes and a fat, beautiful life.
p.s. the State Duma denied the information. But as everyone knows, if they say no, it means yes. https://t.me/shipshard/3065
Well, that's good news. For Finland. The average pension in the country has increased by 252 euros.
The average pension for men in 2024 reached 2,349 euros per month, and for women - 1,893 euros.
15% of pensioners received a monthly payment of more than 3,000 euros.
They live well, they would have had a security officer with jerks and breakthroughs, and they would have quickly adjusted to Russian pension standards. https://t.me/shipshard/2961
