It is not a secret that I am a big fan of Fantom chain. I have wirtten multiple posts on how the price has spiked and on why you should stake it(hint hint). Long story short, you get great APR and staking Fantom is probably the easiest thing to do.
Recap:
- Buy FTM on an exchange(Binance recommended)
- Create a wallet on: https://pwawallet.fantom.network/#/
- Click the receive button and send your FTM from the exchange to the stated address
- Click and staking and select a validator(I use Connor's Node)
- Claim rewards every 4 hours or whenever you can
Unstaking is just as easy to do but it takeds 7 days before your coins are available.
Now onto the big price surge.
In the past few days Fantom managed to spike up from 2.6 cents towards the 4.5 cents before dropping back to 3.6 cents. The last time I wrote on FTM it was still hovering around a penny so even if you bought back then(around a month ago) you would have made some sweet gains. Is it time to sell now? Definitely not since Fantom is releasing Fantom Finance in the coming weeks. This means you can use your FTM to mint fUSD and lend(or borrow) cryptocurrencies on the Fantom Finance platform. Currently the private testers are very positive on the interface and their experience and personally I cannot wait to test it and to earn some big interests on my holdings.
So stock up and get some easy +200% during the next few weeks.
