Viana do Castelo, located on the banks of the Lima River in the north of Portugal, is a city with a lot to offer, due to its very interesting medieval appearance and also attractive beaches on the outskirts.

This city is also very lively, because here the traditional celebrations are celebrated in style. College students also help with entertainment by filling the bars, pubs and clubs.
A place of obligatory passage, also the main reason for many tourists to visit this city, is the Basilica or Santuárrio of Santa Luzia. A spectacular temple located on Monte de Santa Luzia, very close to where you can visit the attractive ruins of the Old City of Santa Luzia.

As soon as you leave the city you will find sublime beaches, some of them recognized as a great place for surfing, kitesurfing or windsurfing, as is the case of Praia do Cabedelo.
