Setúbal is a district and integral city of the region of Lisbon that dates from the Roman time and a port of great historical and cultural importance.

In the district of Setúbal you can find a little bit of everything from endless beaches of fine sand and crystal clear water to fishermen's neighborhoods where you can buy directly the freshest fish in the region, pineapples to lose sight that feed the region's economy to areas urban areas with large commercial and industrial zones.
Setúbal is also part of the well-known Natural Reserve of the Sado Estuary of great botanical and fauna interest. Here you can integrate in observations of beautiful birds, such as storks, flamingos and wild ducks, and on a boat trip to see dolphins.
