Portugal has only spent the weekend at Lockdown, between 1 pm and 5 am. As we are already going on the third weekend with these measures to reduce the number of contagions, I decided to go to the riverside to spend the weekend in an apartment with my wife.

We are in the middle of winter and in the city of Porto it is normal to be raining a lot and there is a gray sky at this time, luckily we had a day with a little sun which gave us to be on the terrace of the apartment drinking a coffee and enjoying the magnificent seen on this site.

From the outside, the hotel looks like it is old, but inside, as you can see, everything has been renovated. We were very happy to have this space. We had everything we needed, including a small kitchen to cook.

As there is little tourism at this time, the prices of apartments and hotels in the city of Porto have dropped and with that we Portuguese are taking advantage of this time and moreover we are helping the hotel business.

This is located in Ribeira do Porto, which used to be an area with many tourists and the streets full of people circulating. As you can see in the photos, the sidewalks are practically empty without any kind of people to circulate, this is due to traffic restrictions and the great lack of tourists in the city.

At night, as you can see, the weather was rainier, but as we cannot go out, we take the opportunity to relax and drink a good Port wine in the comfort of the accommodation.
