The city of Porto has many gardens, as well as history we like to have a city with fresh air. This garden is called Praça Carlos Alberto, surrounded by cafes, restaurants, bars and a bank.

This monarch in the statue was dethroned in 1849 and it was in the city of Porto that he sought refuge.

Carlos Alberto, had as his first retirement, the Palace of the Viscounts of Balsemão, located in this same square.

This old square resulted from a fork in the old roads that went to the city of Braga and to Gimarães (also these two beautiful cities in the north of Portugal).

For a long time, the fair for farm servants and serving servants was held in this square.
It was here that young men and women came together to meet future employers, adjusting working conditions.

The city has a lot of stories and is full of monuments, but don't think that it ends there. This city has a lot of art, and in abandoned buildings or in a state of degradation there is great graffiti.

We also have many street artists to pleasure tourists with their music, paintings etc... Fortunately, step by step we are seeing the artists and the Portuguese population appear on the street. Now we hope that summer will bring tourists to liven up the streets of our city again.

However, if you come to Portugal, be careful to check that before traveling here you have a negative covid test, we are very strict about it here because we do not want to return to the critical state that we had in January.
