Once again, our good friend TrocProcLock has helped to set in motion my foray into NFT creator space, and I wanted to give you Publish0x peeps first dibs at this drop since Publish0x kind of represents the beginning of my crypto journey, and also because I've been talking about that Unity game I'm making...
Lol there are only 85/200 of these left and I just sent the RAM allotment like 20 minutes ago, so get yours while you can. (wtf how did these scalpers even find the link?)
If you're a WAX creator, you might just be going blindly into drops, as evidenced by that fact that sometimes the dropper hasn't sent enough WAX to cover the RAM it takes to mint all of their assets. I calculated the approximate amount of WAX it takes to drop a given number of NFTs by going into the wax.bloks.io explorer and extracting some numbers...
1. It takes about 151 bytes to mint an NFT
2. 1 WAX buys about 7334 bytes of RAM
Note that Tommy Tomato took 151 bytes of RAM to mint. It will be different depending on how many data fields your NFT contains and how much data each field stores.
Sooo, using the 151 byte RAM requirement specific to Tommy Tomato...
Simple arithmetic tells us:
1 WAX will mint us about 48 NFTs,
OR
~0.021 WAX will mint one NFT.
Nice.
Now you can send the right amount of WAX to atomicdropsx.
If you still don't even know how to mint your own NFTs and would like to learn, you can follow this link to a medium post from pink.network, which I assume is the developer of atomichub.io, to get started.
Also be on the lookout for other drops that I decide to do. I am going to drop more of these NFTs in the near future, and if anyone actually follows the Telegram link and gets excited about the game, you will see a demo of that as well. It's not a blockchain game, but remember when we could play videogames without being connected to the internet? I kind of miss that, especially if I'm on an airplane... Plus, my programming is not quite that good yet.
That will be all for today.
