Hi everyone, something else today! Where I'm mostly covering Splinterlands content, I'm also busy with different Web3 projects, like Crypto Unicorns!

Crypto Unicorns by Laguna Games is a role-playing farming RPG where the farms and animals are non-fungible tokens (NFTs) that players can own, trade, sell, and invest in to build up assets, to start, you need to buy a land plot which can be bought on Opensea and Hawku marketplaces, you can buy a common land plot for $12 - $15 at the moment, while Bitcoin is already ranging up, the whole web3 / play2earn world is still down a lot, which has it's benefits to start cheap!
You can get common, rare, or mythical land plots. The rarer your land, the more different class unicorns can work on your lands.

It's played best on PC, if you don't have one you need a strong android device to play with kiwi browser.

Polygon

The game is on the Polygon blockchain, so you need to have an ETH wallet for it, I recommend Rabby but you can also use MetaMask. I stopped using MetaMask because it continued to have issues with failed transactions for me.
The assets in-game are bought with WETH and the gas fees are with polygon native token, MATIC.

I recommend you start at least with 1 land plot and 4 adult unicorns matching your land class, don't worry too much about the unicorn stats when you start.

On a land plot, you can build different buildings like farms to plant seeds to grow berries you need for different actions in the game, a factory to produce items to level up your buildings, a cart to send your unicorns on gathering missions to farm seeds and UNIM, one of the two tokens in this game, when you don't have a very big account with a lot of different land plots it's not too time consuming, twice a day about 10 to 15 minutes to put your corns to work and on gathering missions.

The tokens:

Rainbow Token (RBW) is an ERC20 token that is used to trade items on the marketplace as well as to evolve and breed your unicorns together with The Unicorn Milk (UNIM) ERC20 token, this is used in the game for everything else, like producing items in your factory.

I started this game about 8 months ago and I'm still having fun playing it, it takes a long time to upgrade everything, most of my buildings are level 6 at the moment while level 10 is the maximum, higher level buildings give more productivity, better earnings or more yield, with the help of a guild mate who lend me a small work force of unicorns, my herd now consists of 26 unicorns, 13 babies and 13 adults.

Babies can only farm, adults can do everything in the game and can also breed to produce more babies which you can use to work on your lands or to sell for profit.

The game depth is pretty intense with unicorns genes to breed high stat babies you can evolve and breed on their own to make strong blood lines, but even after playing all this time, I feel I'm not ready for that and I'm focusing on leveling up my lands and evolving the rest of my babies.
