The laundromat is like a diner;

I want to wash my
milkshake
hat

In the vat of foaming hamburgers,

Run my fingers through the French Fry suds,

Find someone's missing malted

Sock

Drying in the sink,

Mop the checkerboard

Tile with a cherry chrome

Smile;

Adopt the style

Of the Rock & Roll
believers,

Eat a bowl of chili soap,

Savor the flavor of

The coin-operated

Fever,

Go dancing with my favorite

Jump rope

Under the studded stars and Mexican

DEATH SKULLS,

Emblazoned like a stylish retro

Fear

On the skater shoes of yesteryear.
