GPS Down

"Sin is the missing link."
Pablo Smog

There is a silver lining to all this madness.  Every time something unbelievable happens, it is an opportunity to see the world as it really is.  Not a treasure trove of light and shallow virtue, in which powerful beings of perfect moral energy improve the world around them by simply never questioning their actual moral condition, but as a sort of antechamber both to Heaven and to Hell, a waiting room for eternity that contains elements of both the good and the bad.  If you're not a "bad person," it's possible to continue on the wrong path by default, without making even the slightest conscious effort, by believing that it is your own good that you are choosing.  It makes sense; why would you get off the wrong path, if you're not wrong?  This is in fact a common pitfall.  Which is why an increase in irrational madness and evil is a blessing in disguise.  It proves to "good people" that their virtue is in fact of no value.  Their "goodness" not only doesn't make a dent in the wicked insanity of the world, this "goodness" also can't be redeemed at any ticket counter to Heaven.  The ticket agent of death informs thousands of people every day that simply NOT being Adolf Hitler or Jeffrey Dahmer actually isn't good enough to board the flight to glory.  We may not have ever killed anybody, physically, but still we're dirty rats.

“But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our
righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all
do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like
the wind, have taken us away.”
Isaiah 64:6

The descent of the world into its natural state of irrational loathing and decay provides an opportunity for people accustomed to going through life with their GPS intact, to stop relying on the would-be redeeming qualities of their virtual virtue, and learn to read a real map, for a change.

GPS stands for "Good People Syndrome."  It is one of the more-ubiquitous and highly-contagious diseases unknown to man.  Most people suffer from it, without being aware they even have it.  Good People Syndrome is to virtue what cocaine intoxication is to happiness.  It might feel good, but it isn't true.  Drug intoxication isn't genuine happiness, and GPS isn't genuine virtue.  It only feels like virtue.  And it'll killya.

So, don't freak out if your GPS goes down.  Don't get depressed.  The world was never going to deliver on its false promises to fulfill you anyway.  Is that a bad thing?  In my opinion, YES.  But what's "good" about refusing to consider an unpleasant, self-unaffirming possibility, in continuing down a path of self-deception?  In my opinion, NOTHING.  This is why the "your truth" ideology is so dangerous.  The "your truth" ideology idolizes the needs of the self above the search for truth.  It says that what's important is what YOU believe, not whether or not it's actually true.  While it's possible to accidentally stumble on truth in this manner, the chances of disregarding this truth if it doesn't conform to your ego needs, is high.  Distrust the "your truth" path.  It leads to destruction.

In fact, the Bible says it twice.  Which means we ought to pay attention.

“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man,
but the end thereof are the ways of death.”
Proverbs 14:12

“There is a way that seemeth right unto a man,
but the end thereof are the ways of death.”
Proverbs 16:25

It's either true, or it's not.  Regardless of what anybody believes, including me.  The question is, what's more important to you, your sex drive, or your soul?  What's more important, money, or your soul?  What's more important, power, or your soul?

I watched a "hell testimony" video recently, so the algorithms at YouTube have been suggesting them to me a lot.  I find that they make it easier for me to forgive people who have done me wrong.  NOT because those people "will get theirs" in due time, but because I'm NOT going to "get mine," and the relief of not having to pay for MY OWN sins is visceral, and makes forgiving people a lot easier.

Cuz I don't want anybody to go there.  Do you?  Are you willing to consider the possibility that putting the ego needs of your sex drive above the condition of your soul is a tremendously-horrible idea?  That putting your lust for power, your greed, your insatiable need for more, above the possibility that it is precisely these vices that separate us from the animals (sin is the missing link), and which will require a reckoning at some point (death, at the latest)(any moment now), is a mortal error of the worst-possible kind?

Has the complete lack of animal literature on the topic of, well, anything, ever struck you as a glaring hint?

"I have scoured the world to find even a single tome of dolphin
literature on the topic of morality and transgenderism and,
more than merely not finding any books on the topic, in
fact I find a complete absence of books at all,
written by any dolphins anywhere."
From A Complete Lack of Animal Literature on the Subject

Is it a lack of brains that prevents the animals from engaging in degenerate behaviour?  Is it brains that elevate human beings to the heights of "goodness," or that give us the capacity to the appreciate the pleasures of degeneracy?  Is it intelligence that enables us to embrace the base, to choose the good over the bad, and to ignore the possibility that we're capable of vice?

Is sin really the missing link?

If it is, then the hope of salvation through Jesus Christ is the best message anyone could ever hear.  It is my sincere hope and prayer that you heed the warning today.  Don't go to hell with your GPS intact.  Thank God when that false morality-positioning system fails.  It's the best thing that could ever happen to you.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16

Thanks for listening.
