Fofo Wept

"During the hearing he had this Tuesday,
Fofo Márquez cried again."
N+

Fofo Márquez is the 26-year-old son of the owner of a chain of Mexican gas stations, who regularly posts videos boasting about his wealth on social media.  In addition to flashing Illuminati gangsigns while bathing his pet baby jaguar in Fiji water, he rolls up onto bridges with his crew, who block traffic with their phalanx of exotic sports cars.  It's like a more honest, braggadocious version of the Just Block Traffic protesters who pour soup on their heads to protest critical thought, or whatever it is they do.

No less loathsome, but at least he has the honesty to tell the world who's standing in their way.  "Rich kids," in both cases.

His real name is Rodolfo.

In this video, linked in the image below, he declares himself to be "powerful and untouchable."  The kind of person who is literally begging the world to kick him in the face.

Which desire he finally projected onto some lady in a parking lot, perhaps in a subconscious attempt to throw himself off of the Cristal-drenched Slip-n-Slide to hell, upon which he was careening toward his inexorable doom.

We'll probably never know.

What we do know is that he's looking at 40 years in prison for attempted "femicide," and that he wept at his hearing.

40 years.  For attempted "femicide."

There is no clown privilege in Mexico.

Meanwhile, in clown world, a woman in Tucson struck a plea deal for attempting to kill her husband by spiking his coffee with bleach, and is looking at an absolute maximum of 4 years in prison.  According to the article on N+, the woman Fofo assaulted said that if bystanders hadn't intervened, he would have killed her.  Just the kind of thing that would be hard to provide hard evidence for in a court of law.  Mexico is so lawless, that almost all of the comments on every video I've scanned about this case indicate a furious, visceral relief that finally, justice will be served in Mexico.

But will it?

40 years?

Whatever happens, Fofo's life is finished.  Even if he rides out of the courtroom on the back of a jaguar whose coat is glistening with Fiji water, Fofo's wild years are over.  Like the social-engineering projects in the West, Fofo seems to be universally despised by his fellow countrymen, whose daily commute he interrupts for social-media clout.  The question isn't whether or not every individual in the world will learn the pain of eating the consequences of their own bad decisions.  The question is:  HOW will those consequences be delivered?

By the parents?  By a teacher?  By a court?

By a brick wall at a hundred miles an hour?

No one gets away.  To deny the inevitability of one's own impact into the brick wall of bad decisions, is to decrease the likelihood that you'll survive.  Better to slam on the brakes while you still can.  If you survive the collision, it is nothing less than an act of God's mercy.  If 40 years in prison is what it takes to bring you down to size, so that you might fit through the doors of the Kingdom of Heaven, so be it.  Even if your sentence is 10x longer than an equivalent crime in the U.S., and your conviction is based on circumstantial evidence,

It is perhaps better than flaunting your own inevitable demise on camera, for the entire world to see.  Easy for me to say, perhaps.  Maybe,

Maybe not.

Whatever the case, heed the warning in the news article on N+, which is perhaps the shortest verse in the materialist's Bible:

"Fofo wept."

"Pride goeth before destruction,
and an haughty spirit before a fall."
Proverbs 16:18
