Unlike major exchanges such as Kraken or Coinbase - LocalBitcoins (launched in 2012 in Finland) is a peer-to-peer venue where crypto traders may exchange digital currencies directly among themselves, including through physical meetings arrangement. Many transactions can be performed in anonymous manner, at least to some extent.

As Forbes reported that users across at least three continents, including Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, had noticed that their accounts were "deactivated."
Users in countries including Nigeria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and Pakistan (that countries struggling with civil wars or economic problems) informing that they could "withdraw bitcoins by deleting account," though some users have claimed to be unable to do so. LocalBitcoins also closed last year users accounts in Venezuela.
Do You ever use LocalBitcoins? Or maybe You live in one of those countries where LocalBitcoins stop working?
