1. XRP Leads Crypto Market With Highest Daily Gain

XRP is managing to outperform the top 20 Cryptocurrencies by market cap. According to data from Coinmarketcap, XRP is only cryptoassets that have managed to stay in the green. At the time of writing, XRP is trading at $0.3392, with the highest daily gain of 9.18% in the past 24-hour period. XRP performance looks a lot more impressive when considered how some of the other major cryptoassets are doing today. 2. Ethereum Futures Volume Surges

As Ethereum price rose to seven-month highs on Wednesday, the aggregate daily volume in ether futures exceeded $4.5 billion for the first time since June 27, 2019. Volumes have risen sharply over the past three weeks from $750 million to above $4.5 billion. During that time, ether’s (ETH) price rallied by nearly 70 percent, from $160 to $280. 3. Huobi Argentina Adds Fiat Gateway For Bitcoin and USDT

Crypto exchange company Huobi Group, announced that Huobi Argentina now supports fiat-to-crypto trading; with the Argentine peso (ARS) and both bitcoin (BTC) and Tether (USDT). The new feature makes it easier for Argentinians to trade between bitcoin, USDT, and ARS. Customers can transfer funds directly to Huobi Argentina from any bank in the country. 4. Bitcoin's Average Fees Reduced by 4000% Since The Bull Run of 2017

Thanks to SegWit and payment batching, Bitcoin's average fees have plummeted to $0.50 and are down from the $20 we saw in December 2017. SegWit seems to be working and exchanges have also been batching their transactions more, which has helped keep fees manageable. Millions of Coinbase Commerce merchants can accept stablecoin Dai as a payment method. This integration will let merchants around the world accept the USD-pegged stablecoin as payment for goods and services without Coinbase Commerce taking any extra fees. Coinbase CEO took to Twitter to complain about his recent user experience with two popular legacy fiat payment apps Paypal and Jack Dorsey’s Square Cashapp. Armstrong reportedly tried to send a payment to a colleague and was denied twice, highlighting the need for crypto alternatives. Electronics giant Samsung has confirmed that support for cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), is coming to its new line of smartphones. On its web portal describing the features of the Galaxy S20, Samsung says new generation will include the company’s proprietary app that allows users to store private keys for BTC, ETH and Ethereum-based ERC20 tokens. 8. Binance Adds 15 Fiat Currencies as Exchange Pushes Global Expansion

Binance has added payment support for 15 fiat currencies in a major push to corner local markets. The Malta-based cryptocurrency exchange announced that users can now purchase cryptocurrencies with a longer list of supported fiat currencies through its integration with Israeli fiat payments processor Simplex. According to a new report by United States-based market research firm International Data Corporation (IDC), governments across Middle East and Africa (MEA) will see a 400% surge in their investment to blockchain-based solutions in four years. IDC report outlines that blockchain tech is increasingly growing its share in digital transformation initiatives in the MEA region.
