Who doesn't like snacking. Just a snack at work or while watching Netflix. Delicious right? Unfortunately, most snacks are incredibly unhealthy. To live healthier we unfortunately have to eat less unhealthy snacks. I know how difficult this is, so I have 5 tips to stop this.
Tip 1 Drink enough water
Water is not only healthy, but it also makes you feel full. This means that you may want to snack smaller. Keep in mind that you can only drink 1.5-2 liters later in a day, so don't drink too much.

Tip 2 start the day well with a healthy breakfast
Start your day with a healthy but also nutritious breakfast. When you start with a nutritious breakfast, you stay full longer and you are less likely to snack.

Tip 3 Don't buy that garbage
Very easy to say, I know. But it is true. If you don't bring it home, you won't eat it on the couch. What helps me well is eating well before I do the groceries. Then I no longer have the urge to buy unhealthy snacks.

Tip 4 Do not think in terms of restrictions
When you think that you are no longer allowed to do anything, you only start thinking about it. And when you start thinking about it, you just want it more. And you will buy it at some point.

Tip 5 There are alternatives
Not all snacks are unhealthy. If you want something sweet, you can eat a piece of fruit. Keep in mind that fruit contains fructose and in our body this is simply converted into the same substance as normal sugar is converted into, so eat maximum 1-2 pieces of fruit per day. If you want chocolate, eat dark chocolate. If you want something savory, have a cracker. Or do you want something fresh, eat a cucumber.
