Hello everyone! This is my second post for today but I've learned from thepeoplesguild podcast with Azircon it's better to make only one post a day.. but the splinterlands challenges require to be submitted in time 😏 actually it's a nice planning for this time because I have real life obligations later so I'll start making this post today, it's Saturday and complete it tomorrow when I have more time!

The previous post I made today was about how I got my eyes opened by listening to the podcast I mentioned before where Azircon explained how Hive works and how the Splinterlands community and the Hive community has been living separate for a long time now, like two neighbors that don't know each other and he was dead on, I totally agreed with him but I was doing this myself too but not with bad intention - I just didn't really think it over so no more from now on, I want to contribute more to the Hive community so I made a (re)introduction explaining how and why and all that, hopefully I wasn't the only Splinterlands player willing to better his life on Hive or reading this post that makes you think, I really recommend listening to the podcast yourself, you can find the post with the links in it here.

This weeks Battle Mage Secrets Challenge is about the Stampede ruleset, and at gold level there is a golden synergy for stampede, which I will show you in the shared battle later in this post. Stampede can be devastating but is too often stopped by armor so the killing streak gets broken, of course when you have a monster with the Piercing ability and with a high enough damage output to keep killing, you can literally trample trough an entire team! It doesn't happen often but when it does, it's really really cool 😁
Well... for me... not for my opponent of course 😇

About 15 hours later, it's Sunday now 😁 let's get on with this!

The battle I have saved for this post is a 24 mana Wild League, Stampede / Reach / What doesn't kills you battle with the Death and Dragon splinters locked out. At low level this is one of these rulesets you can just ignore because there aren't a lot of monsters that have the trample ability by themselves, you can always rent / buy Possibilus and give them trample that way, he really is the king for this ruleset! With these combined rulesets, damage can get really crazy so it can be effective to use a monster with the Forcefield ability, once the damage goes to 5 or above, the forcefield will lower the damage to only 1.

First look at the battlefield:

I have a level advantage that's crucial here, at gold level O'Shannus gets the Forcefield and things would be very different.

My Line-Up:

• Summoner: Possibilus the Wise - reason: Give Trample, +2 HP is also nice.
• First position: Diemon Shark - reason: Great tank, good damage, good armor and HP.
• Second position: Coastal Sentry - reason: Great damage, Double Strike with Piercing is devastating.
• Third position: Torrent Fiend - reason: 0 mana filler card.
• Fourth position: Furious Chicken - reason: 0 mana filler card, sneak protection and opportunity distraction.

The Battle:

Round 1: Giving O'Shannus the Martyr boost combined with it's enrage speed is a smart move, he's very fast now, good thing my team is fast too, hopefully they won't miss too often. The blast the Pirate Captain had, actually helped me and enraged Coastal Sentry so she is now doing 12 damage every turn, IF her attacks land.

Round 2: Whoops! Coastal Sentry missed BOTH attacks and now Diemon Shark will be killed next turn....

Round 3: WHOAAA!! Coastal Sentry avenged her killed buddy and trampled trough the ENTIRE team in one go, crazy! 😂 Like I said, against a lvl 3 O'Shannus, I would have definitely lost...

Well, this is it for this post, and this is the second Splinterlands post for this week so my work is done, there's much Splinterlands work to do for me so let's get going 😁 I still need to submit my guilds brawl battles for two account and also deplete my energy enough so I can continue tomorrow evening after work but don't let the energy get wasted by getting to 50...
