Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing fine! I'm one day early making another Splinterlands post this time, I've got a shoulder injury so I need to give it some rest, moving is good, putting weight on it isn't, so making Splinterlands posts is allowed I think! 😁
Welcome back to my Splinterlands blog, I'll be making content weekly about this great game that has really became a part of my life, I'm having a lot of fun (and work) doing everything Splinterlands related, managing our two guilds, making blog posts, grinding the battles, fighting in brawls, harvesting my land plots, do an occasional tournament, buying cards and putting out bids, and just yesterday, conflicts launched, so I needed to fill op some battlewagons too! I'm not big in Rebellion just yet, pretty expensive for my liking but I managed to fill 8 battlewagons with a modest total of 5300 / HR, giving me about 38 airdrop chances after every conflict, it's not much but it's something!

I did fought one battle in the last week I saved that is worth mentioning, I was saving funds to finally buy Possibilus myself, since I got rekt by it on some rulesets A LOT, the water splinter is great, but for some rulesets Kelya is just outmatched by Possibilus, so not only a month ago, at the start of the new year, I was finally able to welcome Possibilus to my deck.

On to the main topic for this post...

The battle I saved for a post to share (I didn't expect I could use it this fast lol, it happened this week) is a 43 mana Taking Sides ruleset, which means, no neutral cards allowed, so for me it's just a handicap and not really a ruleset, what means no specific strategy for us to use to make the best use of the given ruleset. 43 mana is a mid mana ruleset we can build a pretty strong team with, and the same can be expected from my opponent. Every team you make has it's own strengths and weaknesses, I knew my team wouldn't do very well against a full magic team, but with the available splinters I thought that wasn't a grave danger (and then you meet a full alric / magic team lol) I really didn't knew what to expect so I just made a strong team with some fast monsters to hopefully dodge some archery attacks.

First look at the battlefield:

My first reaction: O SHIT
Kitty is so strong, good it's only a level 1 though but still, the tank is awesome too, taunt, high damage, 14HP to eat trough with Carnage Titan backing it up for another 4 melee damage every round, the healer will heal a lot of HP too, 1/3 of total HP, rounded up if I remember correctly, so that's +4 HP every round unless I'll kill it before the healer gets to healing!
That being said, I tend to underestimate my own team, Diemon Shark while enraged is a beast, protecting Coastal Sentry for how long it can doing crazy amounts of damage together, and when they kill, they just hit again because of trample!

My Line-Up:

• Summoner: Possibilus the Wise - reason: He's just awesome really.
• First position: Diemon Shark - reason: Great tank, especially with the enrage.
• Second position: Coastal Sentry - reason: She is just made for a Possibilus team.
• Third position: River Hellondale - reason: Inspire & Resurrect.
• Fourth position: Musa Saline - reason: a small, dangerous lady I use to counter high armor tanks.
• Fifth position: Ice Pixie - reason: Evasive little caster to distract opportunity.
• Sixth position: Swamp Spitter - reason: Good damage, Repair.

The Battle:

Round 1: Oh well that's a good start! I killed the tank in the first round! unfortunately my tank is also about to get killed, but I got a resurrect to use 😀 The Sultry Barmaid is a damn nice card, I bought it after this battle.

Round 2: Musa Saline did her job perfectly, shattering Carnage Titan's armor so it could get killed before it could do a lot of harm, my Diemon Shark got resurrected but there isn't a lot of threat left on the other team, looks like I'm going to obliterate the Kitty team!

Round 3: My high damage combined with trample killed the rest of the team very fast!

Win Streak win! 0.3 SPS isn't bad at all for Silver Wild league, and a nice little extra since I'm in Wild to farm chests mostly, but I'm trying very hard to get my SPS stack higher, since the SPS price started to fall, I started accumulating, buying 9k in total almost doubling my total SPS staked amount, I want to be a Gold player some day...

Well that's it for this post, I'll take a walk while the sun is shining and do some more ranked battles later, to probably do my second bigger post for this week tomorrow.
