Elon Musk's scenarios are endless, and his new last scenario surprised Twitter users.
Since Elon Musk's acquisition of the Twitter platform on October 27, 2022 for $44 billion, and since entering the company's headquarters, we have witnessed many new events and decisions which completely changed the nature of the platform during the last months .
The latest of these decisions was the imposition of new restrictions on the use of the platform and the limitation of the number of tweets allowed to be read per day, to deal with the two problems of the huge levels of data deletion and manipulation of systems.
In fact,Twitter users faced many problems and malfunctions that prevent them from accessing and using the service as usual, including through the web or through the official Twitter application for both iPhone and Android.
The Twitter malfunction facing users relates to the inability to browse tweets or timelines as usual, including from people the user follows or tweets suggested by Twitter algorithmically, and the famous error message appears in Twitter, “There is something wrong, try reloading.” A new message appears “Sorry, you have a limited rate. Please wait for a few moments and try again.
Precisely, on July 1, 2023, Twitter visitors were shocked to find that they could not see the tweets, and with the platform owner's ignorance for any clarification , and while the users were waiting for an answer to their questions, instead, Elon Musk announced, through his official account on Twitter, a strange procedure in response to the Twitter malfunction and the complaints of millions of users.
Without giving a clear explanation for the malfunction facing users, Elon Musk said that Twitter has decided to make some changes to users' viewing limits. He posted a tweet confirming that the platform had set a limit on the number of tweets users could see per day. According to an information published by the American Billionaire, the new temporary restrictions include:
- Verified accounts can only read 6,000 tweets per day.
- Unverified accounts only read 600 tweets per day.
-Newly created unverified accounts read only 300 tweets per day.

Musk assured users on Friday that the need to have an account to view tweets is a "temporary emergency measure," as users attempt to view content on the social media platform are required to sign up for an account or log into an existing account.
Furthermore, Elon Musk announced in a tweet that the platform would place "temporary restrictions" on the app, amid what he described as harmful use of the platform, as he tweeted
"To address extreme levels of data mining and system manipulation, we implemented the following temporary limits,".

There are certainly reasons behind this strange procedure and restrictions, because the Twitter CEO hinted clearly in a response to one of the users, that the artificial intelligence companies are responsible for what is happening.
"Every company involved in AI, from startups to some of the largest companies on Earth, has been mining massive amounts of data," Musk said in a tweet.
However, some followers believe that this step may be a new tactic to force silent intruders to create more accounts to increase the number of users on the platform.

Elon Musk's unclear policy on Twitter raises many questions, including wonders about Twitter which probably will lose its popularity as one of the most important social media in terms of the credibility of the news, a question that may be answered in the coming days, since Mr. Elon Musk is fond of issuing sudden decisions like the one mentioned above.
