There are two ways to enter the old town: from the south and from the north. In the previous post, I presented the entrance from the south that is more comfortable because it is not necessary (but pleasant) to climb the hill on foot as there is parking nearby.
It is possible to enter the old city from the north only on foot through a small park with stairs and paths.
The park is immediately behind the Clock Tower.
It is possible to climb directly in the square or if you want (I wanted) it is possible to hike along pathways under the ancient walls.
Finally, we can emerge behind the Clock Tower and ...
to regain the path presented in the other post.
