From the town of Vignola (see the last cited post about its castle) it is possible to take a very simple path that winds for miles along the left bank toward the mountains for joining with the network of footpaths of a well-known park: Sassi of Rocca Malatina Park (from the name of spectacular rock formation).

it does not present any particular difficulties, and it is suitable for long distances even for small children with a stroller.

that bring directly on the river that during the wet season it is not simple to hike directly in the river bed as it is full of water.
