I accompanied a person to a medical examination in the town of Marano and I had to wait for over an hour, so I took that time as an opportunity to make river hiking even though I wasn't well equipped (no boots), the weather was a bit cold, it was late afternoon and the light was not the better one.
These are strange times and opportunities have to be seized so the result was an excursion lasting more than an hour of walking for about 3 kilometers round trip.
The Panaro from the bridge looking downstream.

From the same bridge, but looking upstream towards the mountains seeing the stretch of river that I have traveled.

On the riverbed, looking toward the bridge.

Looking upstream: I wanted to at least get to the woods, but I went further

In some places, the riverbank is 1.5-2 m high and it delimits an almost horizontal fluvial terrace.

In this stretch, the river is very large (more than 100 meters): this photo doesn't represent an upstream or a downstream watch, but rather a look from a bank towards the other one.

All images were taken by me with the smartphone camera.
