As I have just written here

in the past few weeks, there has been hydraulic maintenance that has completely changed the landscape.
In that post I showed a river stretch located near an urban park.
My hiking continued upstream along a river stretch that I had explored some months ago
In the first image of that post I showed that the tangled vegetation forbade me to climb down in the river bed.
Now that same place looks like this (looking downstream):
and this is the view looking upstream. There are two rivers, Rio Schiaviroli on the right and Rio Bressola on the left which is one of its tributaries.
As I wrote in the post a few months ago, at that time it was very difficult to get down into the canal due to the dense vegetation. Now the passage is too much open as if a twister had passed on one of the two sides.
There are splinters and fragments of wood everywhere.
Remnants of trunks were left behind and probably they will push back the green shoots (I will monitor the situation to verify how much time it will take to have back the green trees)
The remains of the logs seem like aliens dispersed in a strange world.
Hiking in this landscape gives a strange feeling to as it was me the alien.
All images were taken by me with the smartphone camera.
