The "Pietra di Bismantova" is a well-known mountain located in the municipality of Castelnovo ne' Monti (Province of Reggio Emilia).

It has a very particular flat shape bordered by very steep cliffs.

Almost every day it is possible to meet climbers or simple hikers as some of the cliffs are a sort of natural gym for climbers while it is also possible to simply rise on the top on foot as there are many pathways.

... or to have a short walk in the wood.

If the sky is clear it is possible to see the highest mountains of the Northern Apennines ...
