Thelephora palmata (commonly known as a stinking landlord or fetid false coral) The common names of the mushroom refer to its sharp smell, comparable to fetid garlic. Widely distributed, but rare species, it occurs in Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America, where it occurs on earth in both coniferous and mixed forests. Inedible mushroom.
