Suillus granulatus is a posed Suillus fungus in the Suillaceae family. It is similar to the related S. luteus, but it can be distinguished from its non-ring. Like S. luteus, it is an edible fungus that often grows in symbiosis (mycorrhizae) with pine. It is commonly known as crying heath or granular subspecies.
