Crucibulum laeve - Mushroom height 5 to 10 mm, width 5 to 8 mm. In the initially cylindrical-cylindrical shape, from the top of the white-brown to the yellow-haired, closed by a golden-yellow to orange-colored cap. Then cup, ocher or brown. Inside there are whitish or ocher, lenticular spore reservoirs (perioleols) attached to the wall of the cup with delicate, whitish strings.

Occurrence: From summer to late autumn, on dead deciduous or coniferous wood or on other plant debris, in groups, frequent.

Value: Unaffected fungus.
