Hey folks, Welcome to this week's social media challenge for the online blockchain game #splinterlands.

Each week i will feature a different Monster + Abilities with a Battle.

This week it is the turn of the Earth Summoner Mylor Crowling and the amazing Thorns ability.

Mylor Crawling is a really great Summoner as he grants all friendly Monsters with the Thorns Ability.

Thorns: When hit with a melee attack the monster does damage back to the attacker.

This really is a great ability to have upfront as you will always be getting attacked by a melee monster. Having every monster with this ability is a game changer. It is also perfect for the Melee Mayhem Ruleset. :)

I really love this card and I have won about 10 battles with him today.

MYLOR CROWLING
Although the Magi hates to admit it, Mylor is the most gifted student who has attended Summoners’ Green in many years. In his hundreds of years, the Magi has taught many students whose ambition exceeded reason and morality. When he looks into Mylor’s eyes, the Magi still sees a power-greedy child. Against the headmaster’s wishes, Mylor responded to a Gloridax invitation to Mount Mox and now summons competitively in the tournaments. His style is wild and reckless and he laughs while summoning, like it is all a big game.

This card is not cheap and mine is valued at $9 as it is a level 2. However i picked this up for next to nothing by renting it via Peak Monsters

Here is a Battle that demonstrates the Thorns ability pretty well. You can see that every time the enemies tank attacks mine that he attacks straight back with a cool animation showing Thorns damaging the opponent.
