This was something that occurred to me a few days ago when I was watching one of these guru videos, as you do. What I noted about the guru's video was that the guru always tried to use the slang of the moment to keep people interested. This struck me as strange. This is not trading. What we're seeing is its retention trying to be retained. Though my choice of words may give you a headspin, it does apply.
When people look at a market they see red candles, green candles, or perhaps you've gone with my option where I've got purple candles for the buy and grey candles for the sell. Generally a purple idea that I just went with. It's my own sort of thing but it works for me. Yet they all keep the same ones.
Recently I found a channel where he doesn't have the same idea. Not the hollow and empty candles either. He went with purple, now I think, was light blue, but he seems to be pretty decent. The only thing that worries me about his channel is the fact that he started his own brokerage. That's generally how he's going to make his money but he claims to love the market so we'll let him go with that for now.
