Good morning my friends with one of my favorite traditional desserts. Really love it . Wanna try this??? Let me help you

Ingredients

500 gr. crust
250 gr. butter
180 gr. walnuts
2 tbsp. toast
1 kg cinnamon
1/2 tbsp. cloves

For the syrup

550 gr. water
750 gr. sugar
1/2 tbsp. lemon juice

Preparation

For the syrup, put the sugar, water in a saucepan, mix with the whisk and let it boil for 3 minutes. Add lemon juice, mix well and let it cool completely.
Put the ground walnuts, toast, cinnamon, cloves in a bowl and mix well with a spoon.
Butter a 20/30 cm baking tray.
Spread a sheet of crust, butter it well, place another sheet on it, wrap one end in the fine rolling pin and butter well all the edges of the sheet.
Sprinkle the whole leaf with the walnut mixture and wrap it.
Press it from the edges to squat in the middle and take it out of the rolling pin, pulling it in one direction. Follow the same procedure with all the sheets of crust, spread, butter, sprinkle, wrap and ruffle.
Place the wrapped leaves in our pan, cut them into pieces and butter them well.
Bake in a preheated oven on the heating elements, at 180 degrees, for 45 minutes.
Syrup our hot saragli with the cold syrup, let it soak for 4 hours and serve.

Stay safe and healthy my friends and take care of your people

My best wishes from Greece
