Getting started in Crypto gaming

Just to be clear, when i say gaming, i mean games, not gambling. NO slots or casino games.

The first one i came across was splinterlands. If you like MTG or pokemon, theres a good chance you'll really enjoy splinterlands. Choose your sorcerer, spend your mana to cast your creatures, and then your army does battle on the blockchain. Doing daily quests earns you rewards, as does defeating opponents in ranked games. Rewards can be cards (which are all NFTs, and can be sold, bought and rented) or dark energy crystals, which can be used to buy cards & potions, or exchanged for cryptocurrencies. I'm DrBloodyMal in games if you'd like to play. Make sure you complete the daily quests to get rewards.. these can really add up when you do them every day.

Next up we have farsite, which is a space based MMORTS, where players create the in game assets. There is a DeFi basis to this game, in that the players create the economy and market for in-game assets, and I'm only scratching the surface on this one, so i'll update with more as i play.

What i've done as i get started, lessons i've learned along the way, and how you can learn from my mistakes. my general approach is to spend approximately the price of a couple of pints of beer each week on some form of crypto or NFT, and see how things go from there.
