Mining on Z-pool is easy and it allows you to mine the most profitable coin per algorithm. What I will discuss here is the bare basics of mining from the software to the setup. The software is able to be used on Linux and Windows.
Remember for the windows users you will have to disable your antivirus and allow the software to be downloaded. Here is the link for the software: https://www.srbminer.com/download.html
Now let us go with some basics. After the file is downloaded and extracted, you will have to place the folder where you want. For linux users I would recommend the folder to be placed in the home folder. For ease.
Windows users do not matter because you do not need a terminal emulator you can simply double click the .BAT file and it will start.
After you have done those steps it is now time to start mining. Let us say, for this article you have only 1 computer. If that is the case you should not start with Bitcoin, there are countless wallets around that you can exchange easily and decentralized. Start with Litecoin it is also a guaranteed payout coin.
Let us begin, for windows users, just double click the guided-setup-bat file. For linux users open a terminal and type
cd SRBMiner
./guided-setup.sh
These next steps are the same
The guided setup will ask you to name the file let us call it
ltc
if you are using an I3 or above the next step you should answer yes (y) to multiple algorithms here is the recommendation use yespower and yespowerSUGAR if you do not have an I3 then choose no (n) and use the yespowerSugar algorithim.
Now for the first algorithm (0) you will type this pool:
You should choose yespowersugar, then type the pool url
stratum+tcp://yespowerSUGAR.na.mine.zpool.ca:6241
Then it will ask for your wallet:
Type your LTC wallet address here
Then it will ask for a password For Z-POOL you must use the c=
c=LTC
Now it will ask for the second pool this is where you will type yespower algorithm.
Now you will type the url
stratum+tcp://yespower.na.mine.zpool.ca:6234
again it will ask for your wallet address:
Your LTC address here
then it will ask for your password, again type
c=LTC
since you are using cpu coins it will ask for logging choose no. Save the memory. Now the next time you press ENTER you can now start mining
for linux users just type ./start_ltc.sh
for windows users just double click the LTC.Bat file and it will start mining
I hope this helped you for any other questions feel free to ask. I will try to write articles for those topics not easily found or lied about on youtube.
