I realize that some people may think that the smaller Oak Trees are simply too small, and since Hardwood Trees are notoriously slow in growth it would take years before they would be very tall. When left on their own, in a forest type setting, there is some truth to this. But, when well fertilized and maintained - they will grow much quicker than when they are left on their own. If you give them special care, a 6 inch tall sapling can easily grow to 5 or 6 feet tall within 2 or 3 years. Fertilized and ample watering can work amazingly for you.
