Walking Through 2026
Happy New Year! I'm returning to my blog for the start of this new year. I'm still entirely shocked 😲 how these last six years have gone by in an instant.
I hope all of you have had your 2026 journey starting off well 💜, the collective has gone through so much these previous few years, since the pandemic truly. May this second half of the 20's go smoothly & radiate abundance for us all ✨️.
I'm not into "new year, new me" because I believe we have control over if & when we decide to inact new changes into our lives. But I am taking a very strong initiative to make 2026 better than these last few tormenting years I've expierenced.
Walking 🚶♀️ has become something I've begun doing more regularly again. I used to walk every single day, travel nearly entirely by foot as my butt isn't allowed to drive 🤷♀️. But hey, that's chronic conditions for ya haha 😄. Honestly the idea of driving terrifies me, so I'm not mad about it.
These last 3 years especially, as I've begun getting sicker with my health, I started walking less & less until I rarely did it at all anymore 🙃. Truthfully it is something I miss.
I never walked for sport or anything. I just adore my little town, the shops, the nature, our river. Walking for me has been a way to clear my head, process the day, my emotions, generate & think through new ideas 💡. It used to greatly help manage my stress level & keep my mental health in check.
This year if I'm going to make any goal at all, it's for me to start walking 🚶♀️ more often again.
Today I walked 🚶♀️ around downtown this morning. Said hi 👋 to our local market owner, saw some neighbors and simply overwhelmingly enjoyed the cool crisp air.
I did go in my pajamas but hey, it's better than not going at all 🤣.
I strive to reduce my stress, clear my head from all the clutter, help my health out some more. For me personally walking 🚶♀️ is a big key 🔑 to that.
So tell me, do you have any health related goals for 2026? Please leave them in the comments below 💜!
I have high hopes for this year, things I want to change, taking everything one day at a time. Making a small goal to change up my daily routine every single day. Which I've been pretty good at sticking to so far these last couple of weeks since beginning this adventure of mine.
I have a good feeling about what this year holds for me.
