Surely, Minereum can give you the answer. Don't have a miner, CPU, GPU or whatever mining equipment? No problem, you still can mine crypto on your own. Minereum introduced the first self-mining mechanism based on Ethereum smart contract to mine their token, Minereum (MNE).

What is self-mining?
Genesis addresses are the only tools that are required to mine Minereum tokens. They will solve their own mathematical problems and thus mining process just happen there. In short, you have no way to contribute your computing power in order to mine. What you need is just genesis address.
Once you have an activated Minereum genesis address or even more, it will start its mining process until all tokens were mined for that specify genesis address. At some point, Minereum has some similarities with cloud mining, but it is more controllable, trustable, decentralized and own by yourself.
How much will it mine?
According to the team, the total coins created is 0.00032 MNE per Genesis Address and per Ethereum block. As an Ethereum block takes an average of 15 seconds, so each MInereum genesis address will mine approximately 1.84 MNE per day. Please note that there will be a limit for each genesis address was attributed 32000 coins, meaning that each genesis address only will mine 32000 MNE, which will take roughly 48 years.
What is Minereum (MNE)?
Minereum (MNE) is an ERC-20 token. The total maximum supply was set to 136576000 MNE (may greatly change afterwards due to Minereum V2). Today, Minereum is only tradable on Livecoin with the pairs MNE/BTC, MNE/USDT and MNE/ETH.
What is the future?
Minereum just ended an airdrop so-called Minereum V2 at the end of March 2020. All participants of the airdrop will receive an amount of Minereum V2 genesis addresses depend on how many Ethereum addresses they submitted in the airdrop. Currently, distribution is still going on with a very slow speed due to the massive transactions happen in Ethereum network. Minereum team also promised that they will launch a new platform shortly in the future that enables everybody to trade Minereum tokens, Minereum genesis addresses and even create your own ERC-20 token.
How can I own a genesis address?
For now, there is no way to own a genesis address except you joined the Minereum V1 airdrop back in 2017 (Genesis addresses of Minireum V2 are still on the way to distribute, so the airdrop participants still waiting for that. Thus, that do not count at here). Nevertheless, everyone will be able to trade their genesis addresses once the new platform of Minereum launched. Hence, no need to be FOMO if you missed the airdrop.
