Commander PVM from the Terran Battlecruiser Morningstar reporting for duty! My journey started over three year ago, and the ship engines never had time to cool down! The cargo is now full of alien artifacts, while warping through portals to battling rebels.
But being in the Metaverse 24/7 ain't like being on Earth 24/7! The ship got damaged several time, missions take time, the rewards are not as great as they were... and PVM got tired. Play2Earn games are not my thing anymore, I don't have the time for it anymore.
With sadness ... I parked the shuttle in the hangar until further notice. Even the Millennium Falcon had to retire! The Battlecruiser Morningstar had it's days of glory, and the legacy will be continued by others. Same tools, same $TLM but other raiders!
It was nice while it lasted, but the Binance listing done more harm than good! Just saying! I was wise and sold my top tools when the hype started, and didn't regret it! The mining tool bargains happened before the "HYPE", the artificial rise of Trilium (TLM) and tool prices.
The HYPE was created by Greys, Elders and the Dark Elves. They took advantage from the discovery of Planet Binance and oversaturated the market with expensive mining tools. Explorers from far away galaxies spent their savings and embarked on this journey towards the Federation planets. Everyone wanted to get rich quickly, but not many did their investments wisely.
Sold the gear I got for free from mining, and made a small fortune! Yes my young padawan... back in the days you could dig and find NFTs! Before the rise of the Empire! My Mandalorian mindset went after the bounty and received $226 for the three items I listed at the black market.
Those where the days when the $TLM value was surging, and every crypto bro was joining the game. FOMO was pumping the price and the mining gear prices skyrocketed. Those where the days when a single dig was rewarding the miner with 30-40 $TLM!
I felt that the surge is unsustainable, and this was confirmed when the rewards where reduced ten times. I considered the new rate unacceptable and I added the Large Explosive on the market. Instant boom .... item sold! The buyer paid 1169 WAX, $221.41 USD, for a mining tool! Was this the right move? Three years later I can confirm that I've done the right thing!
Made $447 from selling mining gear, and then swapped all the $TLM from mining into $WAX. The bridge to BNB was broken and I missed the opportunity to sell my tokens at ATH! This was disappointing ... as both of them went downhill since then. Still have the WAX but it's value is now 95% down, from nearly dollar to few cents.
I hoped that the Battledome will rejuvenate the game but it didn't. Not much entertainment on it, and the price of weapons and units kept declining. The end is near! The Doomsayers are shouting!
I still played but by default, with lower gear and lower rewards. I bridged to BNB chain and started doing missions, until I had enough TLM to send my battlecruiser into legendary missions.
"Just" 5000 Trilium is needed to send one spacecraft to explore big bad solar flares, but the rewards are decent. It came back in 12 weeks with a bright orange NFT and a big chest of TLM. With the current value ... that's $5.25 for a three months expedition. It takes only a click but is it worth it?
The Planet Binance and the missions on BNB chain will soon celebrate two years of existence, and the Battlecruiser Morningstar was there since the portal was opened. It was powered by WAX TLM and turned the fuel into even more Trillium.
As we speak, I just reached 10,000 $TLM and sent two shuttles on a legendary mission. I once bridged to Ethereum mainnet and was an expensive mistake, but the total amount of bridged from the WAX chain was 3260 $TLM. This means that the 6740 difference was obtained through missions.
If you ask me if $82 worth of Trillium is good... I will say no! Lack of time and the DeFi hustle made me park the battlecruiser in the hangar, and smuggle the tools to the market... again!
I was surprise to see them go that quick, which means there are still raiders mining mad on Alien Worlds. Wish them all the best and many happy digs, as my items flooded the market. The 43 NFTs bundle was sold for few tokens, but the Large Capacitor was redeemed for 2,454 $WAX tokens.
This lifted the smuggling bounty to $550, which is much better than hourly digs in the game! Episode 13... the final one! Transmission Over! PVM Out!
