I am starting a Splinterlands Weekly Battle Comparison between The Magi of Chaos and Magi Necrosi, as the first one is not present in my deck.
The Magi of Chaos is an epic neutral card with the Oppress ability, that was added with the Chaos Legion patch. It's an expensive cupcake, as the cheapest card is $1.63 on the market.
The Magi of Chaosium are the Chaos Legion heralds, a guild that lurked in the shadows for hundreds of years. They met, studied and gathered ancient knowledge in secret, and made the preparations for the Chaos Legion Invasion.
Epic card, costing 6 mana, and earning Oppress at level 5! With 5 health points, 2 spell damage and 2 speed, this card feels too expensive for the basic stats.
Why Magi of Chaos feels expensive? Because Magi Necrosi cheapest card costs $1.40 and it's packed with better stats and abilities. It's a Death epic card, and this is the only limitation for this monster.
The Magi Necorsi is as old as the first whispers of chaos. The acolytes of Azdurj have used forbidden tomes when creatures of nightmare began hunting and lurking the valley. The long sealed hidden spells were the genesis of the Necrosi, bounty hunters with amazing skills.
The Magi Necrosi cost is the same as the Magi of Chaos, at 6 mana points. It starts with one health point less, but then Necorsi goes above and beyond the comparison.
Snipe and Camouflage at level 1, with 2 spell power and 4 speed. It gains Oppress at level 4 and Stun at level 6. It is the ultimate hero smasher!
Poisoned waters! Good area of selection due to the 44 mana cap, with a twisted tactic. Stampede could trigger multiple times per attack, and Reverse Speed giving advantage to slower monsters, made me use a sneaky team!

My opponent used a summoner that debuffs magic damage, but probably he didn't expected Contessa as my choice. The 3 ranged monsters where affected by the damage reduction, and made his fire power less lethal.
Round one was all about grinding, flexing muscles and destroying armor. No victim yet but blood will pour for sure.
PVM's team v Water Splinter dude 2-0, as a seafood fest was prepared during round two. My opponent lost his Squid and Elven Defender, while the Narwhal was next on the list. How you want your Narwhal fillet to be cooked?
It was carnage in the 3rd round, with my Night Ghoul turning into dust and bones. You asked for grilled Narwhal? I serve you grilled Nawhal with a side of hot & spicy Disintegrator ribs.
