Splinterlands Battle Challenge - The Djinn Apprentice Will Grant You a Wish

By PVM | Mind Puzzle | 14 Oct 2022

Another fiery day in the Splinterlands , where the Djinn Apprentice is struggling to grant wishes. This rare fire card is better at delivering deathblows then making wishes become reality.

The Djinn Apprentice is a scholar, preferring to study under more powerful djinn to enhance their magic. While not as strong or cunning as others of their kin, they are just as dangerous to untrained warriors.

Because they are not an united nation, some of the djinns choose to align with the Chaos Legion, while others choose to defend against it. The Djinn Apprentices chose to align themselves with Djinn Inferni.

This card is cheap-ish on the market and cheap to use, only 5 mana points. It comes with 4 Health, 2 Speed and 2 Magic Damage, also gaining Death Blow at level six.

Make a wish and lit the fire! Two of my favorite battle rules and 44 mana cap are enough to make this duel very interesting. All non-flying monsters will have issues with the quake, even with the bonus Armor Up! Rub the lamp and make a wish!

I usually use Tarsa as my main Fire Splinter Summoner, and unfortunately the Djinn gets only the health boost. Tarsa was born with fire in her blood, having a burning rage, quick temper and the powers to summon and control fire. She lives by “Tarsa always gets what Tarsa wants”!

Tarsa: +1 Melee and +1 Health

Goblin Mech: OP Tank with Piercing

Fineas Rage: Melee with Reach

Ant Miners: Melee with Scavenger

Djinn Apprentice: Spellcaster

Djinn Inferni: Spellcaster with Giant Killer

Sand Worm: OP Melee with Sneak

I had to fight against extra armor and to survive excessive ranged damage. Round one was about destroying the defense, but at the end it was the Earthquake leveling the battle. Even if no monster has fallen, it set the battlefield for carnage!

We both lost our main tank in the second round, with the opponent's Shieldbearer and my Goblin Mech falling under mighty blows.

The tides of the battle turned in my favor, as I eliminated the Time Mage and the Chaos Knight. Now the attack speed returned to normal and the battle was going according to the plan!

But never think things for granted... as the earthquake doesn't care about odds and victors! The Djinn Apprentice couldn't handle the boulders and got buried alive.

Fineas Rage cheated death twice, dodging the Arbalest deadly arrow twice, while the Sand Worm had the Mantoid for lunch.

The Pelacor Arbalest was too busy recharging the bows and was caught by surprise by another Earthquake. Fineas Rage and Djinn Inferni joined him in the shaking graveyard.

It was the Ant Miners turn to lead the army, and their health was growing with every victim. The Luminous Eagle tried to fight back but couldn't handle the angry ants. It flew high enough to stay safe from a hungry Sand Worm and was unaffected by the quake, but couldn't dodge a deadly ant bite! See the full battle here!
