These tokens often lack utility, strong projects, or legitimate backing, leading to potential financial loss and wasted resources. It serves as a reminder to conduct thorough research and prioritize quality investments rather than chasing after every airdrop or trending token.
Uptober is here... this is your last month of being broke! Meanwhile, the charts are mostly red than green! In the end, will be another month that we wasted in the chase of airdrops. Will be another month of claiming shitcoins!

It ain't profit either if you only claim shitcoins! Let's talk about the TON hype and all those rubbish play2earn games on Telegram. It's blasphemy calling the tap2earn as games, but some dived early into them and maybe they claimed a fortune! Only joking... all of them are shitcoins!
I got both $DOGS and $CATS airdrops, but not for wasting time on Telegram. Both projects rewarded the OGs with initial points, and I converted the $DOGS for $53 worth of TON immediately after I received the memecoins.
Then I expected the $CATS to become available, and set Bitget as the withdraw wallet. Checked on the day to see my share of the drop, and it was hilarious to see that 10,520 $CATS were only 0.88 USD. Converted them into $BGB and moved on! Meow!
RhinoFi implemented some changes and introduced R-XP! Due to the recent airdrops... I developed a phobia for points and experience. I am all-in for a gamified experience but this bullshit has gone to far!
In this case... the rhinoshit makes no difference! You do tasks for R-XP and hopefully after lot of effort you will be able to claim a lollipop! I've completed some quests on Layer3, and I was able to retroactively claim some R-XP and some kind of tokens!
There's always a catch, as the rinoshit reward is available only for those that mint an NFT! bla bla
OP is not a shitcoin, but the amount I had to claim as rewards for exploring various protocols was poor. Some LPs and farms on various DeFi projects have boosted APY/APR. The reward is not applied directly into the farm, accumulating on Merkle.
I had 2.5 $OP tokens to claim in there, approximately $4.666, for supplying LP on Velodrome, Ionic, Gearbox and Silo. It's not much but is honest work, unless you add the time wasted into the equation. Why did the crypto trader bring a shovel to the exchange? Because he heard he was going to dig himself into a hole while waiting for his tokens to moon!
Other things are neither a waste of time or a chase after shitcoins. I sometimes do quests on Galxe, Intract or Layer3 for fun, or because I am a big fan of the project. This applied to the Acre End Of Summer Challenge, where I've got my Farmer's Almanac!

Many airdrops followed after the Celestia and Dymension unexpected drops. Most were just marketing stunts, in the hope to claw some of the $TIA and $DYM users into their projects. Leaving $SAGA aside, the rest were useless drops with value so low that it wasn't even worth it to sell.
Got cents from NIM, HAVA and others that I can't even remember the name. Shitcoins are a natural thing in the Cryptoverse, they come and go as you flush the toilet. However, Squared was a top "airdrop" as this time I received pixels to add on the canvas. Got my 4 yellow dots and completed the unicorn's eye! This was more rewarding than getting $5 worth of memecoins!
Want to know how to make money? Go to work! Airdrop hunting, crypto trading, NFT flipping must be a hobby... and the work should provide for your family! There's only one in a thousand that will make it... and that one is not you!
