These treaty violations and the treatment of indigenous people is a crime against the People. The cruel irony is that the bankers paying for this indigenous insult in the form of protesters without portfolio, instigated Wounded Knee. 

What does the Roosevelt and his horse statue have to do with these demands by subversives in Portland? After what many believe was, in the end, an unjust POW confinement, in Geronimo's war for independence against the government, Geronimo in the end, tearfully appealed to Roosevelt for clemency. 

"He thanked Roosevelt (“chief of a great people”) profusely in his memoirs for giving him permission to tell his story, but Geronimo never was permitted to return to his homeland. In February 1909, he was thrown from his horse one night and lay on the cold ground before he was discovered after daybreak. He died of pneumonia on February 17."

Desecration of sacred sites is above our pay grade. The part about, wet’suwet’en land, black and indigenous communities being especially affected by the petroleum industry, seems like gratuitous, Marxist virtue signalling. Try living in farm country where they spray, or the city where they do everything.  All including Green Energy/Tech products, under the current economic system, pollute. 

History of Geronimo's renegades relate to boarding schools as well as the general early reservation system.

While the (Geronimo renegade) POWs were in Florida, the government relocated hundreds of their children from their Arizona reservation to the Carlisle Indian Industrial School in Pennsylvania.

Let's Talk Turkey About Lincoln, Roosevelt and Treaties

Anonymity can be necessary in defending rights, but it is not rights these groups are defending. at least not as envisioned and executed, in their leadership ranks. Most of this apparently phony bank funded social media, street thug group's demands have to do with the Lakota/Dakota Sioux.

"The Standing Rock Sioux Reservation was originally established as part of the Great Sioux Reservation. Article 2 of the Treaty of Fort Laramie of April 29, 1868." That treaty was broken to bits by banking interests and greedy politicians. 

Lincoln and the Sioux Nation

The Fort Laramie Treaty was the result of settlement from the time of Andrew Jackson. Andrew kicked out the foreign banks for their part in the War of 1812, closing the U.S. Central bank at the time. But a lot of debt was owed. The treasury needed fattening. the Lewis and Clarke expedition, Texas Independence movement and cattle interests, farming in the southwest and Dakotas, made the indigenous people rich targets for exploitation.

The Sioux Nation signed the  Ft. Laramie Treaty of 1851. This treaty had allowed safe passage for white setters along the Oregon Trail. Shortly after that however, a lame or corrupted army commander, ordered cannons to be fired on the Sioux for a case of mistaken identity. The corruption both petty and including many high crimes among politicians, bankers and the military, is a part of the mineral rich history of the Dakotas and indigenous Americans. 

Lincoln inherited this mess along with the Civil War. He too wanted to limit the banks influence and corruption by confining government banking to the treasury. During the war over the broken Laramie treaty, Sioux warriors were captured.

Largest Mass Execution  December 26, 1862: thirty-eight Dakota Indians were hanged in Mankato, Minnesota, in the largest mass execution in US history–on orders of President Abraham Lincoln. Their crime: killing 490 white settlers, including women and children, in the Santee Sioux uprising the previous August."

The massacre which was part of the war to retake disputed Sioux land, happened before his presidency. It must have seemed like a no brainer to Lincoln. Country divided, you need all the support you can get. People fear Indians. Goodbye captured Sioux warriors.That quickly brings us up to the Wounded Knee atrocity. 

Wounded Knee: Ghost Dance and Sitting Bull

Throughout 1890, the U.S. government worried about the increasing influence at Pine Ridge of the Ghost Dance spiritual movement, which taught that Indians had been defeated and confined to reservations because they had angered the gods by abandoning their traditional customs. Many Sioux believed that if they practiced the Ghost Dance and rejected the ways of the white man, the gods would create the world anew and destroy all non-believers, including non-Indians. On December 15, 1890, reservation police tried to arrest Sitting Bull, the famous Sioux chief, who they mistakenly believed was a Ghost Dancer, and killed him in the process, increasing the tensions at Pine Ridge.

White culture was very superstitious. They actually believed the indigenous culture if practiced in peaceful ways, would inevitably bring the rise of savagery to the populace. But remember that the settlers experience with native Americans, was savage and brutal in war. However, indigenous people in the U.S. could not raise an army to travel to Washington, DC, but the government could. So the settlers were the closest target.

For Roosevelt it can be said that although he kept Geronimo, (who today may be charged with war crimes in an unfriendly court), from his homeland, he allowed him to travel the world and participate in lucrative business enterprises. Geronimo went to the worlds fair.

"In his, dictated memoirs, Geronimo said that he was glad he had gone to the fair, and that white people were “a kind and peaceful people.” He added, “During all the time I was at the fair no one tried to harm me in any way. Had this been among the Mexicans I am sure I should have been compelled to defend myself often.”

After the fair, Pawnee Bill’s Wild West show brokered an agreement with the government to have Geronimo join the show, again under Army guard."

History of the Indian wars Once again we will slip in an article we already ran, because we don't want to reinvent the wheel here. The indigenous peoples were not kind to each other in warfare and adopted each others atrocities and the white scalping practice as well.

The main pivotal point began with Andrew Jackson. The Government/Settler/Bank, Legal Trespass

The European had more power and believed their way was superior. They wanted to show this to the primitive red man. Though settlers and Native Americans were equally exploited by bank interests, and divided by political profit, and despite the efforts of many of the most famous old west figures who took up the Indian cause, the war against the Native American fueled  by prejudice, allowed in the public's mind, self righteous justification for broken agreements. This in ignorance, without trial or evidence, leading to all kinds of unnecessary cruelty and trespass.   The war crimes against natives is undeniable, when committed under broken treaties, produced in good faith, by our supposedly superior law of the time. And this is our legacy, as long as it continues without remuneration being negotiated. A tough but doable task, in enough instances on record, to create a framework of Native American stake in real estate capital investment with profit share on existing enterprises, including oil energy and mining.   Serious business of the People like this, has no business being negotiated with anonymous bank financed arsonists, and, looting subversives, with an opportunistic agenda, and tyranny on their minds.   EMN - MWON- History and Culture
