Whew, guys, let me tell you. This week has been one hell of a year. With all the bullshit going on around everywhere regarding COVID-19, the crypto Market crashing, the Traditional Markets crashing, you're hard pressed to find a glimmer of hope in much anything. Well, I'm here to tell you that (well, depending on how you look at it) Something has changed fundamentally with Steemit, as in people are jumping ship and giving the finger to Steemit in favor of a community Hard Fork Project, https://hive.blog/.
These are some Pants Shittingly exciting times, friends. All I can say is, you should have saw it coming, Justin. Oh, and he's probably pretty pissed right about now. In fact, there has been word that Justin Sun has been censoring users regarding talk about the Hive Blockchain.Oh man, That's rough. And terribly bad publicity. Nobody likes censorship unless it's granny tits.

SkinnerCrypto: Walking The Line Since January 2020.
ANYWAY, If you don't know already I'm all about this shit. Declare Independence Steemians! Become a "Hivean" today!
Why In The Hell Would I Do Something Like That?
Well, I get it. The new Hive Blockchain is something new in the crypto space. We don't know how it will be valued moving forward, but here's the thing; The Hive Blog is basically a precise clone of the Steemit blockchain and interface! If you have 2000 STEEM, you now have 2000 HIVE too. Got 3000 Steem Power? You now have 3000 Hive Power too. You Don't even need to sign up!
All you gotta do is use your private posting key and username from Steemit and sign into the new system. My Brotha From a Canadian Motha Scott Cunningham (AKA ScottCBusiness) has a GREAT Video (and Publish0x Article) describing the situation in depth, and it's pretty cool. I like it. Scott is a solid guy and he knows his stuff. If you haven't already followed him here, FOLLOW HIM! And sub on Youtube, he's consistent with the YT game and the news and deserves more traction. He has interviewed some HUGE Players in the Crypto Space, and I am impressed.
Okay, Karma Activated. Let's keep going.
What Do I think About This?
Honestly, I didn't see this coming. My crystal balls were glazed in this case.
Are you unsatisfied with the Witness War, the potential changes, and the uncertainty? Well, you have a big decision to make. I'm not here to make it for you, but what I can say is that if you feel that things could be better, you might wanna give Hive a chance. Your clout is equivalent there on their platform. I can't tell you whether or not Hive will be the next best thing, but I can tell you that I'm moving out. As of yesterday, I am powering down completely. I'm gonna try and save my investment before the shit hits the fan. I think that a lot of folks will migrate to Hive, and I think that in due course, things at Steemit will get interesting. In a not-so-good-way.
I terms of the Hard Fork, I'm happy for the folks who made it possible. I have several issues with Justin Sun myself, and I think that it was a bad move for him to enter the space and basically divide it. That's what I see happening. I have a history of really not liking Sun for his Crypto Decisions (F*CKING BINANCE), and I think his influence is toxicity. At the same time, I'll play in his court when it comes to things he started with a purpose; I do have a decent position in TRX, and I'm mostly supporting other related good projects through my TRX (such as TronWalletMe). They don't deserve to suffer because the head hancho is often a dipshit. Why try and create the dream of decentralization, just to shit on it at every possible opportunity? It's silly.
Whether you agree or disagree with me, that's fine. I think that controversy is the spice of life, and that things being happy rainbows and unicorn shit makes for a boring world. Let's FIGHT! Let's discover together what is RIGHT. And most of all, let's have fun with our Magic Internet Money and tell those who wanna ruin our experiences to JOG ON. We don't have time for that horse shit. I'm feeling a little Chaotic Good today, and I say VIVA LA REVOLUCION! Check out the stats and make a determination for yourself!
And for Comparison:
Hive is doing alright at the moment, and I think it will take TIME to get where it needs to be. People will move over, provide HIVE with more value, and both STEEM and HIVE are gonna be players in the space. That's the realistic outlook; they are now competitors. What side do you choose? In terms of colors and such, it reminds me of the distinction between the Alliance and the Horde in World of Warcraft. That's really fun, actually.
And if you're really interesting, play the arbitrage game between the two. That would be fun. When one is up and the other is down, sell. and vice versa. I'd say you'd be monetizing tribalism, but I already beat you to that with SaltToken. Oooooh yeah, the Macho Man is gonna eat your ass.
Thanks for reading, I REALLY appreciate it. Thanks for sticking around, despite my little hiatus from Publish0x. It's been CRAZY.
