To be sincere since I've joined publishox (though not long ago), I've scarcely seen news about NANO, I wonder why. I felt like doing a research for the coin I love so much, because if you know me, I love freebies, and NANO just gives that.
These is what I learnt about the coin: known as Raiblocks before it is totally decentralized and secured, it aims to reduce inefficiencies in existing cryptocurrency.
It's unique features
1. NANO allows each account to have it's own blockchain, because it is based on a blockchain that uses acyclic graph (DAG) technology and block lattice architecture.
2. Another feature of NANO using DAG technology is its unlimited scalability along with immediate and free transactions. The consensus mechanism used by NANO is Delegated proof -of -stake (DPoS).
3. Unlike every other blockchain that track transaction amount, NANO records account balances, and this allows for a far smaller requirement.
4. Another unique feature of NANO is the architecture (DAG) allows each blockchain to be updated asynchronously to the rest of the network. There is no need for consensus protocol for distributed agreement.
NANO network is completely decentralized, with the potential of infinite scalability, and if the developers make this a reality, NANO could change the entire cryptocurrency ecosystem for years to come.
