After the Hard Fork Event finally has its date (September 17th), we all have something to talk about on Cardano Summit 2021. I have already mentioned the event briefly yesterday, but it surely deserves its own article.
The whole world is invited
The Cardano Summit 2021 is confirmed to take place on September 25th & 26th, with more than 50,000 attendees from all over the world. With one of the biggest communities in the cryptoverse, you will have the chance to attend 20 community-led events in seven event hubs around the world. After the last physical get-together 2019, the Summit will be about All Things Cardano.
The confirmed topics so far are: Research & Innovation, Enterprise & Business, Governance & Decentralization, Nations & Africa, Environment, Social Impact, Developers & Community, and more.
Deadline for Host-Applications is August 20th
You can follow the link to register for the online event and local meetups or even apply to become a host for a pre-summit event, watch-party, post-event parties, or else, yourself. If there is no meetup near you yet, you can also suggest a city, that you think shouldn't miss. The whole Summit is free, and you will be able to make new connections, learn or just have a good time.

About Cardano
Cardano is an open source Proof-of-Stake blockchain with ADA as its native Token. It was founded in 2015 by Charles Hoskinson, and their Mainnet went live in fall of 2017.
Cardano consists out of the Cardano Foundation, which oversees the development of the project and commissions two companies to do the development work. You could describe their job as to standardize, protect and promote the project.
The first of those commissioned companies is Emurgo. They are a worldwide initiative designed to support developers, startups and enterprises in developing blockchain solutions. The second one in the bunch is Input Output HongKong, or short: IOHK, with Charles Hoskinson and Jeremy Wood as their CEO. IOHK is a research and development firm engaged in using the peer-to-peer innovations of blockchain, with the aim to make convenient and inclusive financial services possible.

They are saying it will be their biggest summit ever - so I don't see a reason to miss it.
