Void (ERC20) vs. Void (TRC20)
Today i want to talk about one of the latest big trends in Crypto which is Deflating currencies. This was started kinda as a social experiment by BOMB token, which has spanned different types of spinoff's which i wanna talk about today, more specifically Void (TRC20) and Void (ERC20) two different projects with same name, but different teams and blockchain.
What is Deflating Crypto anyways?
When we are talking about traditional fiat currencies like Euro and Dollar they are printed on a yearly basis, the ratio of inflation in USD is around 1.38% per year and Euro is likely bit higher, but obviously these banks print lot of money in their own pockets which they don't count in total sum of printed money. This is what we call "Inflation", while Deflation is the exact opposite where supply is being destroyed instead of created.
You might be familiar with Token burning model of Binance or Bitfinex, but this is different, its not an automatic process and the centralized bodies decide when and how much will be burned. In Deflating currencies operating in Ethereum and Tron, the tokens are destroyed by a smart contract by every transaction that is done, when person A sends money to person B, lets say you say 10 VOID, in this case 0.5 VOID would be destroyed and the other person would only receive 9.5 VOID instead.
Deflation and Token burning increase values, which make you want to hold on to them for long time, however its important to notify that there are lot of gimmicky projects out there with no real use cases. If you can gamble with them, then thats something or buy pizza, but lot of these tokens like BOMB aren't at that stage right now.
