If you watch closely on the left hook of Liquid, you will see that there are way more lending options on Liquid, compared to Binance.

Binance has a Basic and a Pro trading interface, while Liquid comes with an innovative and simple quick exchange for newcomers, together with a really professional trading interface which offers all options that are needed for trading.
The trading interface of Liquid is completely customizable, which means you can create your own workspace and drop the elements (chart, trade feed, order book, etc) whereever you want on your screens.
Close round but ultimately this round ends with a score of 0:1 for Liquid
ROUND 4 "Regulation":
This round is over sooner than it started. Liquid comes with a fully regulation in Japan which binance had once tried to get, but failed and moved to shady Malta. Both Exchanges are currently trying to get a full US approval. Lets see how this round will play out in one or two years.
For now, the winner of this round is Liquid with a score of 0:1.
ROUND 5 "Security":

Binance goes in this round with a the traditional strategy:
Cold wallets for user funds, hot wallet for company funds to make fast withdrawals possible.
This led to several hacks in the history of Binance resulting in stolen company assets.
LIQUID:
Liquid is using cold wallets for all funds. There wasn't a single hack since 2014.
Additionally, Liquid published a security section on their start page, which lists all mechanisms they use to protect you funds.
This includes things like DDOS countermeasures, monthly penetration testing, WAF, DNS Security to prevent hijacking or spoofing, etc.
Security round clearly ends with a score of 0:1 for Liquid.
FINAL ROUND 6 "Possibilities & Features":

The amount of Binance features is a bit higher, but Liquid brings the advantage that they offer a fiat gateway without the need of third party partners or a separated platform. So they can offer fiat investments on IEO market and their lending platform, you can withdraw to your bank account without a third party and use fiat directly for spot, margin and cfd trading.
So this round ends with a score of 1:1.

The challenger Liquid has done very well against the giant, but could not make the race, event if it was close.
I think this time, its a matter of priorities, everyone can choose their own winner depending on their preferences
