Coinbase has just enunciated a new coin on its list called IoTeX: "A blockchain for the Internet of Things"

What is ioTex?
The main documentation says this:
- ioText is a decentralized network of users, developers, and businesses that control and use the IoTeX platform collaboratively.
- OTX is a utility token that powers IoTeX, a platform that connects Internet of Things (IoT) devices such as cameras or sensors with decentralized apps. IOTX can also be used to pay for transactions, stake and manage the IoTeX network, and register new devices.
To resume what is ioText, is a project where the user can sell their sensible data to the ioText project. The users decide what they want to sell or share in the network. The have the power to choose or decide what is the network. The ioText project can process the data as facebook or google is doing and they can offer what the users needs. The ioText project can sell the processed data to third party in order to do reports or whatever. In my point of view this project is not nothing new, they say that they preserve the sensitive documentation of the users, but for me sounds the same that the old players but in the web3 world
