Sex is what makes the world go round.

It's true. And it's also true that modern life has made sex  a priority for many people. The internet is making it possible to have, in some cases, more sex than ever before—but it's also making it more difficult to forge the kind of meaningful human connection that leads to deep and lasting love.

What does all this mean for romance? Well, maybe it means that romance is dying—and maybe that's not such a bad thing after all.
