Some great news for all Cardano's Hodlers!
1.Daedalus Mainnet is ready!
IOHK, the company behind the development of Cardano, has launched Daedalus 1.0, the first generally available version of its full node wallet for the Cardano blockchain and its native token Ada.
IOHK CEO, the "good guy" Charles Hoskinson, made an update on the launch through YouTube.
Daedalus is the product of 18 months of hard work on rebuilding the code base of the wallet, as Hoskinson said.
The wallet, which has now fully moved away from the Serokell code thanks to the Byron reboot, is available to all Cardano users.
Version 1.0.0 of the mainnet wallet brings about much-needed stability and security and Hoskinson suggest that it takes about 15-90 minutes to download the blockchain, and about 20-30 minutes to restore an existing wallet.
The launch will enable the team to start working on ledger support, as well as paper wallets and rapid deployments of other beta features.
Below you can watch the video with the installation instructions for Daedalus 1.0.0 with Darko Mijic, IOHK's Product Manager Operation:
Daedalus is part of Cardano’s Byron Reboot, which went live on Apr. 1.
The Byron Reboot serves as an interim period between Cardano’s previous Byron era and its upcoming Shelley era. Maybe the launch will be complete by the end of Q2 (June 30).
Following this, Shelley will begin the Goguen era, which will focus on partnerships and commercialization.
2.FCAS Results/Cardano ADA Surged By Over 20% Within 3 Days
Not only Mainnet Launch.
Cardano share another post: the results of the classification made by the Fundamental Crypto Asset Score (FCAS). The FCAS gave Cardano an “A” and places it among the “attractive” assets of cryptocurrencies.
After these great news, ADA has surged By 20% over the last 3 days, 56% in one month.
