In case you missed it ... there is something really big going on in the Metaverse.
The first FREE MOOC NFTs & The Metaverse is about to launch. Organized by the (always innovative) University of Nicosia, with lead lecturers Professor [G. Giaglis](https://www.unic.ac.cy/giaglis-george/ and the famous @ 6529 - along with an incredible array of guest panelists and lecturers.

If you did not plan to join, you may be wondering why I am writing this post.
Since Monday October 3rd, the students (but also anyone else) who would like to experience the OM Metaverse before the first live session that will be on Friday, can enter the Sector 0, where a party (tonight:)) and the first live session will take place.
This post is a tutorial about how to enter OM - The Sector 0 - temporary home of UNIC for the first ever 100% on chain & FREE 12-week MOOC - META511 NFTs & The Metaverse
Entering Sector 0
The best experience is on a laptop/desktop computer. I have also been able to enter in mobile, but I prefer the desktop experience.

First screen you will see..
Is black. It may take a while to load (1 minute or so) but it will.
For now you can -not connect your wallet if you do not want to.
In this screen, my wallet is already connected.
After it loads
This is the screen before entering:
Before entering - remember - Escape is the button to go back or to move out of the metaverse.
What we see here:
- top left: View Assets List
You can see all the points and if you hover the mouse you will see that you can choose to see details or teleport at one point.
Click x on the top right to exit
Getting social
Make sure to enter Multiplayer if you wish to meet other people. If not, you can always explore alone :)
Take a moment to ..
Show Tips
These are:
- Click E to interact with an element
- Use your mouse or trackpad to rotate
- Press space to jump
- Use WASD or arrows to Move
For me for the first time, it was easy to first do a 360 degree round around me see whats there - and afterwards move anywhere I wanted using the arrows.
Entering!
If you already joined in the past, maybe it has your wallet and one of your NFTs, if not - you can change this.
If you wish to see the options on the bottom of your screen - click on Escape once and you ll see the below
From the left > chat button :)
Click on the world if you wish to share with everyone, at the space, or nearby
You can toggle chat box
You can open/mute your microphone
You can see the users' list
You can take a screenshot
You can edit your profile :)

What else is around?
I guess pretty much .. I did not have the time to explore, but I heard something about a beach .. an island... and who knows what else?
Teleport
One of the coolest and fun features is the teleport.
The user can teleport with 3 ways
- If they know which user they wish to join - just type in the chat box /join username
- You can click on the users, find the user you wish to move close to / click on the 3 dots next to their name and select "teleport"
- To teleport press esc and then U on your keyboard, a user’s list comes up and then you press on the 3 dots next to the name and there's teleport
Remember: To change your PFP press esc and then P on your keyboard and then on the pencil below your current avatar! Your PFP can only be one of the NFTs of the wallet you connected.

If you are wondering what is the big deal here?
Well, there is a number of things one can do - organize meetings, have a token-gated space - create their own gallery and .. more. The possibilities are endless and are restricted only by our imagination.
I am not sure how many of you have minted the NFT so that you can enter-
The course will be token-gated, but the first sessions will be free for everyone. So if anyone wants, they can always come - join in OM (Details and links below)
