Trying the business suite for Facebook
I have been using social media for a long time, but lately it has become difficult to keep up, there are many new features launched and we really need to do changes.
In this post, I will try using the Facebook Business Suite and will guide you through the process
As we see in this post
Facebook launched a new app designed to make it easier for businesses to manage in a single place their pages and profiles across Facebook, Instagram and Messenger. The app, Facebook Business Suite, combines access to the business’s key updates and priorities, and offers a way to draft and schedule feed posts for both Facebook and Instagram, view insights and create ads.
To use the new app, business will first need to link their Facebook and Instagram business accounts, if they hadn’t already.
Let's start by entering to our Facebook page!
This is my Facebook page. I have been using this to share posts about the blockchain industry and also for sharing my posts. I usually cross post to my Instagram account
There are a lot of things that need to be done in my Facebook page- we ll make a future post about how to optimize it :)

Home You may see all the updates / messages / insights / changes in audience / and also the activity to your recent posts
Please note that my Facebook/Instagram pages are not so professional yet - but I plan to use them more in the future so that I can further share my posts. I have found that there are many users that are interested in cryptocurrencies. Also, lately bitcoin and all these are a big hype in the news so the users will start looking for info & answers
Activity Clicking this, will open a bar with all the Instagram activity.
Inbox Opening Inbox will open up all your images so that you can also use Facebook to respond to Instagram messages
Posts Will take you to the posts screen where you can see the published/scheduled posts, schedule new posts or create a post and publish it on Facebook and/or Instagram and also
Ads Will take you to where you can create promoted posts
Insights will show you the latest statistics of your pages
And if you click on More Tools, then you can select between a variety of activities that are mostly about creating Ads on Facebook.
In short, in case you use Facebook and/or Instagram - setting up the Business Suite can be handy because:
- You can check your insights from one point for both your Insta/Facebook Page
- You can see / interact with all your previous comments in both platforms
- You can use your inbox for both your accounts
- You can publish posts for both your accounts and also schedule posts for them
- You can add images, videos or even locations to your posts
You cannot
- Do changes to your accounts, you need to visit the facebook page or insta account to do that
- Share stories, you need to do it from the accounts
- Tag persons/pages/accounts, you need to do it from the accounts (but you can mention them)
Why use it?
It will save you time, and it can also help you share your posts easily as well as grow & interact with your community!
Besides, the Facebook/Instagram users would certainly benefit from sharing decentralized content in their centralized platform, right? ;)
