The Birth of Jesus

  "In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that the whole world should be enrolled. This was the first enrollment, when Quirinius was governor of Syria. So all went to be enrolled, each to his own town. And Joseph too went up from Galilee from the town of Nazareth to Judea, to the city of David that is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David, to be enrolled with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. While they were there, the time came for her to have her child, She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn." - Luke 2: 1-7

“The most exalted Lady gave to the world the Onlybegotten of the Father and her own, our Savior Jesus, true God and man, at the hour of midnight, on a Sunday, in the year of the creation of the world five thousand one hundred and ninety-nine (5199), and which date has been manifested to me as the true and certain one.” - CH X Book IV The Mystical City of God

There is a hidden mystery in the birth of Christ that he was laid in a manger. A manger or trough is a rack for fodder, or a structure or feeder used to hold food for animals. At his incarnation he gives foreshadowing to the Bread of Life or manna from heaven that he will be for his people.

Jesus is the bridge of the chasm between imperfect finite man and the immutable majestic infinity of God represented in the Hypostatic union of himself as True God and True Man. Reconciliation is accomplished through Jesus’ birth as God and humanity are reconciled from the broken relationship from the disobedience of Adam and Eve. Expiation is seen by God as already accomplished as the Precursor witnesses “Behold the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.” Through Christ’s life, death and resurrection Salvation is gifted to those who would freely accept the invitation to the Wedding Feast.“I am the Alpha and the Omega, says the Lord God, one who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” By Christian piety and yielding to the wishes of the Holy Spirit the Traditions of the Church are to practiced and celebrated that their institution is also a cycle to be culminated in the Second Coming of Jesus.

The Parable of the Ten Virgins

“ Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed , they all slumbered and slept.

And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.

Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’

“Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.” - Matthew 25:1-13

“My most holy Son is such a faithful Lover of souls that He hast set me as the teacher and living example of the love of humility and true contempt of worldly vanity and pride. He ordained also for his own glory as well as for my sake that I, his Servant and Mother, should be left without shelter and be turned away by mortals, in order that afterwards his beloved souls might be so much the more readily induced to offer Him a welcome, thus obliging Him, by an artifice of love, to come and remain with them. He also sought destitution and poverty, not because He had any need of them for bringing the practice of virtues to the highest perfection, but in order to teach mortals the shortest and surest way for reaching the heights of divine love and union with God.”

"come back to Me with all your heart and let your prayers reach Me, because it is not those who say to Me: “Lord! Lord!” who will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the person who does the will of My Father in heaven; so speak with love, and I shall hear you; give with love, and I shall know you; pray with love, and the doors of My Kingdom shall open for you to receive you; act with love, so that I may say to you: “ you are Mine, you are My seed, come to your Father!” 

I am Love and anyone who lives in love lives in Me and I live in him; do the Will of My Father in heaven so that you enter My Kingdom; remember that the Root of the Tree of Life is Love;

pray more with your heart, My children, and feel confident that My Ear is near your lips; I bless you and bless every step you take; Love loves you; remember My Presence; I leave My Sigh of Love on your forehead; be one" - True Life in God
