Splinterlands is a pretty complicated game and there are some interesting battles with all the options available. This is a part of the weekly social media challenge for Splinterlands. For this week, I choose a great battle where I took advantage of the ruleset, summoner and monsters to get a good win.
Featured cards

Adelade Brightwing is a life splinter that costs 7 mana. It has the ability flying and repair from the very first level. It learns resurrect at level 2, immunity at level 3 and swiftness at level 4. It's a good support monster but the only downside is its slow speed.
Rule set, Battle and Plan

The ruleset this time Earthquake. This means that all monsters without flying ability will take damage every turn. There are 34 mana available and I am left with the choice of fire, life, or death splinter.

I used Grandmaster Rathe as my summoner because gives my monsters an extra armor, void armor and amplify. I focus on using a bunch of flying monsters to avoid the earthquake damage. I start with Gargoya Lion as my tank with void. Then I have Pelacor Conjurer with magic reflect. I have Celestial Harpy as a damage dealer and Adelade Brightwing is there for its support abilities. The only monster without flying is Venari Marksrat with martyr to help buff up some of my flying monsters. In my last spot is War Pegasus for its fast speed and shatter.
Round 1

At first glace, I think I have the advantage despite the level disadvantage. My opponent is not using many flying monsters and I can reduce the damage by quite a bit through the repair ability.
Round 3

I fast-forwarded to round 3 but I was able to take out 3 monsters from my opponent while not losing any from mine. My repair monster is still working hard to cut down my enemies' damage and I still have my resurrect.
Round 5

At this point, this match is my win. My opponent will be left with a single monster and it can't damage me anymore due to the void armor and repair.

I was able to win the match a few rounds later.
Conclusion
The battle this time around went exactly as I expected. I played flying monsters to take advantage of the ruleset while my opponent did not. Combined with my summoner's void armor and Adele's repair, I was able to reduce the damage that I would take and kill off my opponent without too much trouble. The martyr monster was the only one to die on my side but it did its job to buff up two of my damage dealers.
